Checking your Laptop's Wireless Card Driver Date in XP

1. To Determine Your Wireless Card’s Driver Date first RIGHT CLICK on your wireless connection icon on the bottom right of your taskbar and select “open network connections”…

2.  From the Network Connection dialog box RIGHT CLICK on your wireless network connection and select “Properties”…

3. On the Wireless Connection Properties Screen click “Configure” to the right of the network card name under Connection Using: …

4. Select the “Driver” tab on the top tab bar to view the driver page…

5.  The Driver Date should be displayed in the top 1/3 of this page...

Note:  SELECTING "UPDATE DRIVER" at this point will NOT in most cases update your card's driver.  Please update manually using your laptop manufacturer's latest driver off their support webpage.
