Wireless Access

The Division of Legal Computing maintains a wireless network throughout our entire law building based on the 802.11a/g/n standard. (Wireless B will no longer be supported after August 1, 2009)   A good signal (10 -54mb/sec) can be maintained in our classrooms and law library, clinics, journals, cafeteria and atrium. Faculty and administration offices are also covered as well as our conference rooms, auditorium, open seating and outdoor lawns.

Accessing our Law School wireless network - LAW_PUBLIC

If you have a laptop, tablet or other wireless device with 11a/g capability, your computer can access our LAW_PUBLIC wireless network inside or near the law building as long as you have an active law school Novell account. Your login code and password are the same ones you use to access PCs in our computer lab and library.

However, in order to better maintain a stable wireless connection please follow the recommended laptop setup listed on our wireless configuration webpage.
