and Informational Privacy
Seton Hall Law School cooperates with members of
the scientific and technology community, government,
and legal communities on a local and national level
to promote education and share resources involving
electronic transactions and intellectual property.
On June 26, 2001, the Senate and General Assembly of
the State of New Jersey passed the “Uniform

established The New Jersey Center for Electronic
Transactions and Informational Privacy.
The Statute reads, “The New Jersey Center for

Science and Technology at Seton Hall University
School of Law. The Center shall collect and evaluate
information on issues concerning electronic records
and privacy and shall compile its findings and any
recommendations for submission to the Secretary of
State and governmental agencies of this State, as
may be appropriate.”
Under the auspices of the Institute of

address a variety of topics related to all aspects
of intellectual property, including electronic
transactions and informational privacy. For
