Audio Case Files
Audio Case Fiels can be accessed at: http://www.audiocasefiles.com/. To register for the website, click on “Sign Up for an Account” at the top right of the screen. Then fill out the form using your Seton Hall email address. After you fill out the form (name, email, law school, year, password) you’ll have full access to the website.
To listen to cases click "Cases" at the top of the site or simply type in the case name in the search feature. The cases can be sorted by course or by casebook on the left side of the page. The website also enables the student to view other cases on the same topic or sub-topic.
Students can download either the full “Audio Opinion” or an “Audio Case Brief.” The full audio opinion is a slightly edited version of the decision written by the judge hearing the case. The audio case brief is a short summary of the case organized into facts, rule of law, issue, holding, and discussion. After downloading an audio opinion, case brief, or lecture, you can listen to it on your computer or you can transfer it onto your ipod or other mp3 player.
