Rodino Books

Traditional Books

Before the digital revolution, books were the definition of a great library, and the Rodino Library is proud of its collection. With the increasing migration of material on-line, and students' desire for remote access 24/7, there is less need for hardcopy of some of the sources that used to be the core of any law library. While frequently-supplemented material, such as "looseleaf services" has mostly migrated to the internet, we still provide basic case reporters and statutes in their book format. And the Library has a strong collection of treatises and monographs that are simply unavailable on line. The Catalog will tell you what we have, and our Location Guide and Library Floor Plans will tell you where it is.

eBooks

But traditional books are not the only kind of books the Rodino Library provides. We offer a variety of electronic books on Kindles and Sony Readers, convenient for checking out at the Circulation desk. There are also many eBooks just a click away. These range from Early English Books Online to Google Book Search. Although some of this material is available to the general public, much of it is premium content that can be accessed with no charge through our website.

Audio Books

Still other formats available in the Rodino Library are audio books and podcasts. These are available on CD or by download from the Listeners Choice Webpage. For CD's, there's a complete collection of Bar.bri lectures that can be checked out at the Circulation desk. There are also Sum & Substance CDs available. And the Listeners Choice Webpage links to Audiocases.com.  Audio versions of legal material are especially good for those driving to school or work. You can use what would otherwise be dead time to brush up on legal topics or maybe just to relax with a good novel.
