This course covers the fundamentals of corporate finance. Topics covered include key features of capital structure, differences among key types of financial instruments, mergers, acquisitions, and key issues in addressing corporate financial distress. Students complete the course with a broad understanding of the key financial instruments used by corporations and the legal rules that govern those instruments.
