successful competition hosted by Shearman & Sterling’s NY offices. This year’s
team members were Andrew Farrley, Lyndsay Speece, Tracey Eilbacher, Jocelin
Singer, Jody Walker, Jenee Ciccarelli, Lisa Scorsolini and Anthony Poulin.
Italicized team members competed in Oral Arguments in the regional competition.
The team placed 7th overall in our Region. Andrew Farrelly was named one of the
top 10 oralists in the region.
- ILS members were encouraged to register for Jessup in the fall. However,
International Law is a pre-req or co-req for this competition.
- Interest Survey
- Will be distributed by section leaders to be signed. All other members may
participate. This survey is of unique importance in our maintenance of
international classes. It will be used to show that there is interest and
therefore a demand for International classes so that we can try to get a better
schedule in the future.
- Speakers : The E-Board has been in contact with the International Law
Section of the NJ Bar Association who are willing to provide speakers for future ILS events and assist with preparation of future Jessup teams.
- Elections
- Will be held on April 4th, 2006 at 5pm. This will be our last meeting for the
semester. Mark your Calendars so you can come out. Vote is done by a simple
majority.
- Please email your intent to run to Jenee Ciccarelli, ciccarje@shu.edu.
