website.
This site provides information about TLS, including upcoming
events, careers in tax law, and useful tax-related links. All
students are invited to join TLS events and meetings.
Overview
The Tax Law Society provides information to the student body
regarding opportunities in tax law. Specifically, the Tax Law
Society presents speakers from the Internal Revenue Service,
local practitioners from prominent New Jersey and New York
firms, and other tax lawyers in order to increase awareness
of career opportunities in tax law.
The organization also conducts information sessions on Tax L.L.M. Programs, Seton Hall Law School's I.R.S. Externship Program, and V.I.T.A., the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, which is administered by the Center for Social Justice.
