Spaces
The Larson Auditorium is great for conferences, large meetings, presentations, award ceremonies and trainings. The room is equipped with microphones, a podium with a built-in PC and LCD Projector. Each audience seat has a flip top desk and outlets for AC power.
Capacity: 286 theatre style
The Atrium is ideal for breakfasts, lunches, networking and receptions. This space also could be used for exhibits and vendor displays.
Capacity: 200 reception style, 150 banquet style.
The Faculty Library hosts many types of events because of its open floor plan. This room is used for breakfasts, lunches, meetings, workshops, receptions and small conferences.
Capacity: Maximum is 70 depending upon set-up. This room can be configured to suit the needs of your event.
Our classrooms are used for workshops, conferences and job training. Most classrooms are fixed with stadium seating. Smaller rooms and some conference rooms can be used for breakout sessions when available.
Capacity: ranges from 16-112 classroom style

External Organizations
How to inquire/reserve space
All requests for use of space at the law school must be made through the Office of Special Programs. Apply for space here and get started.
Rental
All events sponsored by non-university groups require a rental charge. Final payment is due two business days before the event. If payment is not received at this time, the event will be canceled and deposit forfeited.
Certificates of Insurance
Non-University groups are required to provide their own insurance in accordance with the University’s policy and procedure. External groups must submit liability insurance in the amount of two million dollars, with one million in workers compensation and names SHU School of Law as an additional insured party on the date of their event.
Cost
Our rental fees vary based on size, occupancy and if your organization is for-profit or not-for-profit. Please contact the Director of Special Programs for pricing information.
Food and Beverage
All food requests including snacks, meals, drinks, tablecloths, etc. must be arranged through the Office of Special Programs.
AV/WIFI
Most of our rooms have Audio-Visual capability. Please direct all inquiries to the Office of Special Programs. WIFI can be made available for your group on the day of your event.
Parking
There is a parking lot that is adjacent to Seton Hall Law School. It is managed by LAZ Parking. For GPS purposes, the address is 42 Mulberry Street, Newark, New Jersey. Since Seton Hall does not own this lot, free validation is not available. However, if you are choosing to pay parking for your group, we can arrange this at a discounted rate.
