Behind each gift made to the Seton Hall Law Rising campaign is an alumnus, faculty member, administrator, friend, law firm, or organization that believes in Seton Hall Law. Each year, the Law School recognizes those individuals and organizations who have made gifts in its annual Honor Roll of Giving. As part of the Seton Hall Law Rising campaign, the Law School now also has created a Donor Recognition Wall to permanently acknowledge all who contribute at least $1,000 to the campaign.
"The wall is a way for us to express our gratitude to these key supporters whose support has been vitally important to the campaign's success and the Law School's future," explained Vicki Fleischer, Assistant Dean of Alumni and Development.
"It's a permanent recognition of those who have set the foundation for the Law School's ongoing ascent and of the strength that is gained through shared participation," said Joseph P. LaSala '72, campaign Co-Chair. "It is only through the generosity of alumni and friends that Seton Hall Law can continue to build on its reputation of excellence in legal education, scholarship, and service, and for this support we are deeply grateful."
"We hope all members of the Law School community will spend a few moments at the Donor Recognition Wall to recognize the names of those who have helped to ensure that Seton Hall Law continues its rise as one of the nation's top law schools," added Patrick C. Dunican, Jr. '91, campaign Co-Chair.
The wall currently is installed as a provisional structure so it can be updated each year to add new names through the campaign's completion on June 30, 2011. A focal point in the atrium, it consists of several panels, stands seven feet tall, and spans 20 feet.
