Class reunions provide a fun and enjoyable opportunity to reconnect with classmates, renew friendships, and reminisce about the challenges and rewards of being a law school student. They also are an ideal opportunity to give back to the Law School.
This year, the Classes of 1959, 1969, and 1979 met for a joint reunion at the Bayonne Golf Club on September 12th, and the Classes of 1989, 1994, and 1999 will be holding their reunions at the Law School this Saturday, October 17th. As in recent years, each class has opted to make a class reunion gift to Seton Hall Law School, setting both a dollar amount and participation rate goal for their class.
"I feel it's very important for us to give back," says Deborah Bello ''79, VP and Chief Legal Officer, Insurance at Prudential Insurance Co. "We received all the benefits of going to Seton Hall Law. We've been successful and have good careers. It's important that we set an example for future generations to follow."

More than $100,000 was pledged by members of the Classes of 1969 and 1979 as part of the September 12 reunions, with the Class of 1979 making the largest class pledge to date this year at more than $63,000.
Ms. Bello notes that reunion giving is also a way for her and her classmates to express their appreciation for the great strides Seton Hall Law has made in recent years. "Dean Hobbs has done a fabulous job. The school is now a destination school; students from out of state now want to go to Seton Hall Law."
Pledges on behalf of 2009 Reunions can be made up until the close of the 2009 calendar year on December 31, 2009. For more information on making a reunion gift commitment, contact Carrie Sharpe, Development Officer and Reunion Coordinator, at 973-642-8503, or Carolyn.email@example.com.
