Seton Hall Law Seeks Volunteer Judges for Upcoming Competitions
As you know, inter- and intra-scholastic competitions help Seton Hall Law students build critical legal skills.
We need alumni to support our students by participating as volunteer judges at these upcoming events:
The John J. Gibbons National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition brings together 40 teams from 40 law schools all over the nation to compete at Seton Hall Law. We need alumni volunteers to serve as judges, especially those with an interest or a practice in Criminal Law. The Competition takes place Friday, April 1, 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 2, 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. For more information or to sign up, please contact Professor Jodi Anne Hudson at email@example.com.
Each semester, students enrolled in the Appellate Advocacy course are required to argue their appellate briefs before a panel of volunteer alumni judges. We hope you will participate as a judge for the Appellate Advocacy Oral Arguments on Sunday, April 10. Arguments take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with a break for lunch. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Jean Patterson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 201-803-2914.
