When the classes of 1971, '76, '81, '86, '96 and '01 met at the Short Hills Hilton on October 28, their reflections were consistent: “The evening flew!” “It was great to spend time with my professors and classmates!” Pictured are Karen and Michael Moriarty, both of the Class of 1986, who orchestrated a photo of the entire celebrating class.
Seton Hall Law graduates found the evening to be both enjoyable and valuable:
Kim Capadona-Trillo ’01: “It was wonderful to reconnect with so many of my classmates and reminisce about our time together at Seton Hall. It is important as alumni that we attend events such as our class reunion and remain involved with the Law School. The successes and accomplishments of Seton Hall are a direct result of our commitment, involvement, loyalty and support.”

Elga Goodman ’96: “Seton Hall Law has been like a home to me since I walked in 15 years ago, and it felt no different at the reunion. The classmates who became my study group – the friends in this photo with Dean Hobbs and me – are still part of my inner circle personally and professionally. We keep tabs on each other, we refer cases to each other, and when we do have an opportunity to connect we pick up where we left off.
“At the reunion it was great see Professor Wefing and Bulbulia, and I really enjoyed talking with classmates I did not know as well while we attended law school. We caught up on our lives and our careers, and we exchanged cards and contact information. Now, I know we’ll stay in closer touch. The evening just flew by! It was a great night.”

Karen Moriarty ’86: “The members of our Class of 1986 were close when we graduated and continue to be to this day. The reunion was a special evening out with those we see often and a great opportunity to connect with those we have not seen for years. Fond memories and lasting friendships were formed at the Law School, and the laughs continued last Friday night!”

Ed Frisch ’76: “Wow! Thirty-five years, it's been quite a journey for us all. I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing with classmates who attended this reunion. It was a wonderful surprise to meet with some of our former professors. I particularly enjoyed Professor Diab's reference to Arnold's on Clinton Street as our "student lounge." We didn't have the best physical amenities, but we knew that it wasn't the building; it was all about the people. I look forward to our 40th reunion, and would hope more of the members of the Class of 1976 will join us.”

Dick Visceglia '71: "The Class of 1971 accomplished much: It initiated the Law Journal, inaugurated the first school newspaper, Res Ipsa Loquitur, and held the first elections for the Student Bar Association. Later its members went on to excel in the judiciary, the legal profession, the business world and in higher education. As evidence of our gratitude to our dedicated professors, especially Dean John P. Loftus, and to our School of Law, the Class of 1971 is proud to have contributed $150,000 at our recent 40th Reunion. We hope that future reunion classes will emulate and surpass our dedication and commitment to our Alma Mater, which transformed us into ethical, productive and capable professionals."
