PaperCut Client Installation
 

  1. With your laptop connected to our LAW_PUBLIC wireless network and authenticated, copy and paste the link below into Internet Explorer (not Microsoft Edge) :

    \\LAWCLUSTERFS.shulaw.net\PCClient\win\client-local-install.exe
     
  2. Hit enter
  3. If asked to enter your network password, enter your Law School AD credentials with "SHULAW\" before your username. (ex. SHULAW\smithjoh)
  4. Select Remember my Credentials so that you are not asked to authenticate again
  5. If you are asked if you want to Run or Save the program, select Run.
  6. If a warning appears stating that the file could harm your computer, select Actions, then More Options, then Run Anyway.
  7. If you receive a User Account Control warning, select Yes.
  8. On the PaperCut Client Setup Wizard window, Click Next.
  9. Accept the License Agreement and click Next.
  10. Keep the existing Destination Location and click Next.
  11. The dropdown box should be on Local Install (For all users).
  12. Click Install.
  13. When the installation is complete, make sure Launch client and verify my identity is checked and click Finish
  14. Login using your Law School AD credentials.
  15. Make sure “Remember my identity” is checked.
  16. If you see your Print Balance window, PaperCut is successfully installed.

Printer Installation
 

  1. If you have previously installed this printer, make sure to delete that printer first before continuing (this would include any installations before the Fall 2016 semester).  If this is your first time installing the printer on your laptop, you do not need to complete this step.
  2. Copy and paste the link below into Internet Explorer and hit enter:

    \\LAWPRINTPS
     
  3. If asked to enter your network password, enter your Law School AD credentials with "SHULAW\" before your username. (ex. SHULAW\smithjoh)
  4. Select Remember my Credentials so that you are not asked to authenticate again.
  5. Locate the printer queue "Law School Printer" and double-click on it.
  6. The Windows Printer Installation window will appear.
  7. Once the Printer Queue window appears the printer has been installed.
