A week of celebration at Seton Hall Law
All week, Seton Hall Law honors its graduating Class of 2015 with a series of celebrations culminating in Commencement exercises on Friday, May 22 with a special speaker: Dean Patrick E. Hobbs. The events unfold as follows:
Tuesday, May 19
Cap and Gown Party, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Graduates, family and friends are invited to the Cap and Gown Party in the Atrium. Enjoy good food and fun with your classmates while academic regalia are distributed.
Thursday, May 21
Baccalaureate Mass, 4:00 p.m.
Seton Hall Law chaplain Father Nicholas Gengaro celebrates Mass with the friends and family of our graduates. All are welcome to attend. Mass will take place in the Larson Auditorium, 3rd floor.
Graduate Awards Ceremony, 5:15 p.m.
Seton Hall Law presents special awards to distinguished graduates at this celebration, taking place in the Larson Auditorium. A Wine and Cheese reception will follow in the Atrium.
Donning of the Kente, 6:30 p.m.
The Black Law Students Association hosts its annual Donning of the Kente ceremony and reception in the Faculty Library, 5th floor. Karol Corbin Walker ’86 will serve as the guest speaker.
Friday, May 22, 10:00 a.m.
The Class of 2015 will march in the procession at our Annual Commencement exercises at the Prudential Center. Dean Patrick E. Hobbs, who will step down after 16 years of dedicated service, presents the traditional Commencement address. Please join us for this historic occasion.
Friends and family of our graduates are welcome to attend; there are no tickets. All are welcome back at Seton Hall Law after the ceremony where we will hold a Wine and Cheese reception in celebration of our graduates.
