Patricia Morgan is currently working as the Chief Legal and External Affairs Officer at New Jersey Department of Education.  Immediately prior, Patricia served as an assistant counsel in the Office of the Governor.  Prior to joining the Office of the Governor, Patricia was an associate at Greenberg Traurig in Florham Park, New Jersey. Patricia focused her practice on employment and commercial litigation.  

Patricia is a 2009 graduate of the law school where she was an evening student.  In law school, she was a judicial extern for New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Jayne LaVecchia, and she served as comments editor for the Law Review. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Morgan was a special education teacher and independent educational consultant to homeschooling families. After graduation she clerked for Chief Justice Stuart Rabner of the New Jersey Supreme Court and later for the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan.
