The Office of Career Services Extends Your Professional Network

David_Weinberg1Whether you are a member of the Class of 2011 seeking full-time employment, a recent graduate about to complete your judicial clerkship or a seasoned professional considering your next career move, the Seton Hall Law Office of Career Services (OCS) stands ready to assist you. David Weinberg, Assistant Dean (pictured), leads a team of professionals who can counsel, advise, and help you extend your professional network – leading you to your next great opportunity.

It may be a while since you contacted OCS, or even years since you attended your first OCS orientation session. But here are a few easy steps to help you make the most of OCS’ services and expertise:

Seton Hall Law maintains Symplicity strictly for current students and alumni, featuring job openings from employers throughout the region and other important information for alumni in transition. Your organization may also use Symplicity to promote part-time, full-time, or summer employment openings, ensuring that you reach a pool of talented, qualified candidates.

To open a Symplicity account, to reactivate your account with a new password, to receive training for Symplicity or to advertise a job opportunity, contact Sonia Cunha, Director of OCS at sonia.cunha@shu.edu or call 973-642-8746.

Message from Dean Patrick E. Hobbs

“Seton Hall Law does so much more than place our graduates on a legal career path. It opens doors so our graduates can pursue their evolving career aspirations over decades. You made a wise investment in pursuing a Seton Hall Law degree. Our Office of Career Services helps you maximize that investment throughout your professional career.”

Recent graduates: Your account is active indefinitely. If you remember your password, simply log on at law.shu.edu/symplicity!

Each month, Alumni News and Events features networking sessions and career panels sponsored by OCS on a variety of topics, from conducting the job search to exploring new career destinations. Stay tuned and join us at the events that interest you.

OCS counselors have been in the legal field for years – either as practicing professionals or as counselors who have developed extensive employment contacts and deep industry knowledge. Set up an appointment to meet and talk about your next move.

A special invitation to the Class of 2011 and to recent graduates who are completing judicial clerkships: Please contact Sonia Cunha, Director, at sonia.cunha@shu.edu to let OCS help you find your next opportunity. Or, let us know of your new position!
