Exam Policies

Exams scheduled by the Registrar will be subject to the following Conflict Policy:

Examinations on three consecutive days of the examination period, in which case the second examination shall be rescheduled; or

Two examinations scheduled to begin twenty-four hours apart, in which case the second examination will be rescheduled; however, when there are two examinations in classes of four credits or more each, which are scheduled to begin forty-eight hours apart, one examination may be rescheduled.

All requests to reschedule an exam(s) must be made to the Registrar by submitting the online Request for Rescheduling of an Exam Conflict form by the required deadline.

Except for requests meeting either of the circumstances above, no other requests to reschedule exams shall be honored. Please refer to Examination Emergencies for Seton Hall’s policy on exam absence and rescheduling due to an emergency.
