Seton Hall Law Names Isabel Disciullo Assistant Dean of Admissions

Seton Hall University School of Law is pleased to welcome Isabel “Issa” DiSciullo as the Law School’s new Assistant Dean of Admissions. In this role, she will oversee admissions for the Law School’s JD program as well as its Masters of Science in Jurisprudence, LLM, and Graduate Certificate programs.

DiSciullo is a national leader in admissions and a recognized expert in diversity and inclusion. She comes to Seton Hall Law from Drexel University where she worked for nearly a decade in high-level positions, most recently as the Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for its College of Medicine.

“Dean DiSciullo brings extensive experience in the admissions and higher education arenas and hands-on knowledge of the importance of diversity and inclusion efforts,” says Dean Kathleen M. Boozang. “Her belief that access to education should be equal for every prospective student echoes Seton Hall Law’s mantra of One Student at a Time. We are thrilled to have Dean DiSciullo join us as we prepare to welcome future generations of Seton Hall lawyers.”

DiSciullo received M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. She also holds a B.A. in Marketing from Bentley College.

Seton Hall Law has made tremendous strides over the last several years to diversify its degree offerings. The Law School’s online programs in compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management in the life sciences, health, and financial services industries meet the increasing demand among non-lawyers for graduate training in cutting-edge specialty areas. In 2016, Seton Hall Law began offering a part-time J.D. program that combines live classes meeting eight weekends each semester with online learning. This weekend innovation has rejuvenated the opportunity for working professionals to access a legal education.

DiSciullo shares her excitement about recruiting students for the breadth of creative educational offerings available at Seton Hall Law, “It is exciting to become part of a law school that has such vision, and has so aggressively adopted technology both in and outside the classroom. I am also very enthusiastic about recruiting students to a school that embraces values that have been so important to me throughout my career, especially the moral obligation to create a legal profession that reflects the communities served by the bench and the bar.”
