Marquis Whitney is a Litigation Associate at Barnes & Thornburg LLP.

Prior to clerking, he worked as a commercial and criminal litigation associate at Gibbons. P.C. in Newark where he handled matters in both state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Marquis maintained an active pro bono practice that includes representing individuals in expungement matters in both Essex and Morris Counties.

Before joining Gibbons P.C., he served as a law clerk for the Honorable James B. Clark, III, U.S.M.J. and Whitney was an appeals clerk for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
