David is an Assistant United States Attorney of the US Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey. As an AUSA in the Civil Division, David investigates and prosecutes government fraud and abuse, primarily under the False Claims Act. He is also active in prosecuting civil rights violations on behalf of veterans and children with disabilities. Prior to joining the US Attorney's Office, David clerked for the Honorable Alvin K. Hellerstein of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York and was an Associate at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. As a litigation associate at Stroock, David primarily handled insurance and reinsurance disputes. He was also active in the firm's pro bono program, helping children with disabilities obtain appropriate educational accommodations. Before law school, David taught for two years in the South Bronx with the Teach for America program.
