THOMAS ZUPPA, JR.

Tom is a civil litigation attorney practicing in the areas of insurance defense and coverage, representing insurance carriers and their clients in tort-based insurance matters.
Tom was an Assistant Prosecutor with the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office located in Jersey City, NJ. Prior to becoming an Assistant Prosecutor, Tom clerked for the Honorable Peter J. Vazquez, P.J.S.C., the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Part in Essex County. Tom is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Hudson County Bar Association.
During law school, Tom served the Seton Hall Law community as President of the Student Bar Association and was awarded the Hazard Zet Forward Leadership Award, as voted upon by his classmates. Tom also received the Luigi Franzese Scholarship and was named the recipient of the Mary K. Franzese Humanitarian Award for Service and Leadership. As a student, Tom interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey in Newark, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, and for the Honorable Michael A. Petrolle, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court. Tom also participated in the Center for Social Justice Juvenile Justice Clinic.
Tom is a 2012 graduate of Seton Hall Law School and a 2009 graduate of Fordham University. Tom is a Jersey City resident and is active in local community associations and serves on the board of several non-profit organizations.
