DESCRIPTION
This event, sponsored by the Office of Student Services, will continue the conversation inspired by the Presidential Election and the events of January 6th. Presented for law students, faculty, and administration, this scholarly panel discussion will focus on the challenge of finding good information and avoiding misinformation and disinformation. We'll explore the impact of media and social media, the duty of private and government actors, and what lawyers and law students can do.
You are invited to submit questions in advance for the consideration of our panelists here. Panelists include:
- Fr. Nicholas Gengaro, Moderator, Law School Chaplain
- Professor Margaret Lewis, Panelist, Professor of Law
- Professor David Opderbeck, Panelist, Co-Director of the Institute for Privacy Protection, and Co-Director of the Gibbons Institute for Law Science and Technology, and Professor of Law
- Raymond Brown, Esq., Panelist, Partner, Pashman Stein Walder Haden
