Professor Persson is an Associate Professor, and Co-Acting Director and Head of Public Services at the Peter W. Rodino, Jr. Law Library Center for Information & Technology. In her capacity as the Head of Public Services, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the public services department, including reference, access services, student outreach and interlibrary loan. She also teaches Advanced Legal Research, provides research and reference assistance to students, administrators, alumni, staff, and other library patrons, and lectures on a variety of legal research topics. Professor Persson is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the New Jersey Law Librarians Association at both the committee and special interest section levels. She is the current President of the New Jersey Law Librarians Association.
Prior to joining Seton Hall Law in 2010, Professor Persson was a transactional attorney with White & Case LLP in New York City. She received her J.D., cum laude from Brooklyn Law School where she was a Prince Scholar and the Associate Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. She received her M.L.S. from St. John’s University where she was an Institute of Museum and Library Services Scholar.
