Wireless Access

Wireless Access - SSID "campus"

Seton Hall University provides a wireless network throughout our entire law building based on the latest 802.11 standard. A good signal and speed (up to 50mbs) can be maintained in our Rodino Center, classrooms, clinics, journals, cafeteria, atrium, faculty and administration offices, auditorium, open seating and outdoor lawns.

To access our wireless system, connect your wireless device to SSID "campus" and log in with your Piratenet credentials (your 8 character shortname and OKTA/portal password).  If you cannot connect, please visit our Law Helpdesk in the Rodino Center suite on the 4th floor or chat with us on Technology Help for an account check or password reset.

Guest Wireless Access - SSID "SHU-Guest"

A guest network is also available throughout the law building using SSID "SHU-Guest".  Once connected, your web browser will load a guest sign-in page where you can enter your mobile phone number and receive an authentication code via text message.  Then enter the authentication code and accept the terms of the Appropriate Use policy and select Sign In.
