When James Crawford Orr ’64, the 2013 Distinguished Graduate honored at the Seton Hall Law Alumni Dinner Dance, remarked that he “bleeds Pirate blue,” he was speaking of a vibrant 55-year connection to Seton Hall University that endures for Jim and his family, including two sons currently attending SHU. May 2013 - A LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP INITIATED AT SETON HALL LAW GIVES RISE TO A NEW SCHOLARSHIP
"Though criteria may differ from one scholarship to another, they often share the desire to preserve the legacy of someone dear to you. We want to give back to Seton Hall Law School, which has given so many opportunities to deserving students." That is how Paul Deehan '85 introduced the newest Seton Hall Law scholarship, named for his beloved parents, at the reception held on April 3 for the benefit of donors of privately funded scholarships and the students who receive them.
