Mayling C. Blanco is an associate with Lite DePalma Greenberg, LLC in Newark, New Jersey. She devotes the majority of her practice to litigation defense. She represents public entities in all matters ranging from civil rights violations to employment disputes in both state and federal court and commercial entities in contractual disputes. Ms. Blanco also has significant state appellate experience and is honored to be amongst the first attorney volunteers for the Appellate Division Pro Bono Civil Pilot Program. In addition to her time on the Alumni Council, she also serves on the Dean’s Diversity Council.
Prior to joining her firm, Ms. Blanco served as law clerk to the Honorable Mathias E. Rodriguez, J.S.C., in the Middlesex County Superior Court, Civil Division.
While in law school, she was a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and served as a Board member of the Latin American Law Students Association as well as liaison to the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey.
Before attending law school, Ms. Blanco was a Teacher for America Corp Member teaching in an underprivileged community in New Jersey. She obtained her B.A. in Philosophy from Cornell University in 2000.
