Congratulations Seton Hall University School of Law Class of 2021!

We’ve come a long way since 1L. Each and every one of us should be so proud of all that we’ve accomplished during our time at Seton Hall.

Professor Brian Murray gave a stirring speech at the 2020 orientation on what it means to become and practice as a lawyer during these times. Those of us on the Seton Hall Law Review thought his speech was a beacon of hopeful light in the shadow cast by the past year and half. We were so moved, we partnered with Professor Murray to publish his speech in order to share it with the entire graduating class. We hope you are as inspired by it as we were.

Read Professor Brian Murray's speech, On Becoming a Lawyer, Adapted from Speech Given During 1L Orientation August 20, 2020.
