Alessandra Masciandaro currently is a 3L in the Weekend Program for the 2019-2020
school year. She received her B.A. in Philosophy with high honors from Douglass College
of Rutgers University in 2007. After graduating, she found her way into a rewarding
career as a teacher. She continues to teach full time, while attending law school
on the weekends. Her experience in education involves creating and maintaining a multitude
of private student records. In 2017, she decided to pursue a career as an attorney.
Alessandra received her first exposure to Privacy Law in her Cybersecurity class.
She was drawn to further pursue this area by her understanding of the rapidly increasing
amount of personal information that is stored online. For the past two summers, Alessandra
served as a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the District of
New Jersey. In her free time, Alessandra enjoys CrossFit, yoga, and power lifting.
