NEWARK - AT THE HEART OF IT ALL
Just eight miles west of Manhattan, Newark is part of the largest legal market in the nation. The largest city in New Jersey and one of the country’s largest transportation hubs, Newark is home to federal state and county courthouses as well as leading law firms. The Northern New Jersey region also houses top global corporations across all industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services and technology, among others.
The Prudential Center, the Newark Museum, the New Jersey Center for Performing Arts and the Ironbound are just a few blocks from the Law School, giving students quick access to sporting events, concerts, world-renowned works of art and wonderful food. A short train ride takes students to New York City, where they can enjoy the world’s greatest array of arts and entertainment. Students can also take advantage of the many state parks and recreational opportunities, such as hiking in the Palisades Mountains along the Hudson River or hitting the waves at the famed Jersey Shore.
Student organizations play a central role in life at Seton Hall Law.
