Seton Hall University School of Law is dedicated to preparing students for the practice
of law based upon values that emanate from the Catholic tradition. We aim to help
form wise counselors, skilled advocates, and ethical professionals dedicated to justice
and the common good. We seek to advance knowledge and understanding of the law and
its relationship to civil society and culture. We endeavor to preserve, transmit,
and discover truth in all its dimensions. And we strive to promote social justice
and human dignity. We are committed to attracting students and faculty who will bring
their unique perspectives, experiences, and talents to our community, and to providing
an opportunity for legal education to those whose circumstances would otherwise preclude
it.
