Seton Hall University School of Law is available to students and graduates of other law schools under the following terms and conditions:

• Reciprocity services are available on a one-to-one basis to students and graduates of ABA-accredited law schools who permit Seton Hall University School of Law students and graduates the use of their services. The Office reserves the right to adjust this policy if the requesting school has a more restrictive policy.
• Requests for reciprocity must be made in writing by the Office of Career Services from the requesting law school. Requests will be accepted by letter or email message sent in advance to Maria Capra at [email protected]. Walk-in requests will not be honored.
• If reciprocity privileges are granted, our policy allows online access to our listings. Students and graduates will be issued a temporary Seton Hall Law Symplicity Log-in and Password beginning on the date of approval. Reciprocity accounts will remain active for three months or until “blackout periods”. This password will provide access to online job listings only, provided that the school seeking reciprocity allows Seton Hall University School of Law students/graduates the same privileges.
• Reciprocity will not be available during “blackout periods” for our Recruitment Programs from February 1st through May 15th and from July 1st through November 30th. Upon written request and review, reciprocity is renewable.
• Reciprocity privileges DO NOT include in person visits to the Office of Career Services. They do not include participation in Seton Hall’s Recruitment Programs, job fairs, resume review or career counseling.
• Individuals granted reciprocity must comply with all University Rules and Regulations during their visit.
• Reciprocity is a privilege! Seton Hall University School of Law’s Office of Career Services reserves the right to decline requests for reciprocity services if the number of students and alumni from other schools using our services exceeds a reasonable amount.
• If any foreseen problems arise with a reciprocity recipient, we reserve the right to notify the requesting school and terminate privileges.

For Seton Hall Law School students and graduates only:

The Office of Career Services will provide Seton Hall University School of Law students and graduates with one letter requesting reciprocity at another law school within a two-month period. This limitation is necessary to allow as many of our students and graduates as possible access to other schools’ career services offices. Requests for reciprocity should be made well in advance of the intended visit.
