This edition of The Center for Health & Pharmaceutical Law’s Spring Speaker Series features Dr. Michael Sinha. Dr. Sinha, co-author of Generic but Expensive: Why Prices Can Remain High for Off-Patent Drugs, 71 Hastings L.J. 1019 (2020), will share his insights on this important and timely topic.

Dr. Sinha is a Research Fellow at the Harvard-MIT Center for Regulatory Science at Harvard Medical School. He is also affiliated with the Program On Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Center for Health Policy and Law at Northeastern University School of Law. He teaches Drug Law, Patent Law, and Public Health Law at Northeastern University School of Law and Pharmaceutical Policy at California State University East Bay. His legal scholarship includes articles in the Journal of Legal Medicine, the American Journal of Law & Medicine, the American Journal of Law and Medicine, the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics, the Harvard Law & Policy Review, the Food and Drug Law Journal, the Stanford Law & Policy Review, the Journal of Law and the Biosciences, and the Hastings Law Journal. Medical publications have appeared in NEJM, JAMA, JAMA Internal Medicine, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, CHEST, PLOS Medicine, Health Affairs, the American Journal of Public Health, and the American Journal of Bioethics.
