2018 US HCCP Program

2018 US Healthcare Compliance Event Wrap Up

From June 11-14, 2018, Seton Hall Law held its bi-annual U.S. Healthcare Compliance Certification Program (HCCP) and introduced its first HCCP PLUS on June 15.

The traditional multi-day event brought together industry leaders in compliance, ethics, health care, regulatory, medical affairs, and legal to learn about compliance statutes and regulations, as well as how to create a culture of compliance.  Attendees were immersed in panel discussions on current health care compliance trends and hands-on case studies with experts in the field.

During the inaugural HCCP PLUS one-day event, attendees dove into data analytics for government investigations, metrics in compliance program effectiveness, and learned how to leverage data analytics to drive successful compliance auditing and monitoring programs.

Seton Hall Law welcomed Raynna Nkwanyuo of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and Karin Umfrey of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as student scholarship recipients to attend this year’s program, extending their knowledge in the legal compliance field.
