Seton Hall Law graduate programs can get you to where you want to go by offering our Master’s in law online. Whether you want to pursue general legal studies or a more specific concentration like health law, life sciences law, corporate compliance, privacy law, gaming regulation or sports law, or a combination of any two, there is a program for you.

Our Master's in legal studies degree program is designed for students who are not interested in becoming lawyers, but rather are interested in gaining a solid foundation in the legal and regulatory aspects of various industries to enhance their effectiveness and marketability.

Admissions Standards

Our MLS admissions committee is seeking applicants with a wide range of professional backgrounds and experiences. Applicants to the Master's degree in law must have a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or the foreign equivalent. In addition, each applicant should have a professional interest in the academic concentration they wish to pursue. Admissions decisions are based on the quality of the applicant’s undergraduate performance, relevant professional interest/experience and expected ability to do superior graduate work. Applicants are not required to take pre-admission tests such as the LSAT, GRE or GMAT.
