Since 2006, the Colloquium on Scholarship in Employment and Labor Law, COSELL, has united dozens of scholars each year to present, listen to, and provide feedback on research and scholarship in labor law, employment law, and related areas, such as litigation or ADR. COSELL embraces a variety of methodologies and theoretical approaches, including critical legal studies and empirical methods (among others).
COSELL aims to be inclusive: there is no charge to attend; it rotates among schools that volunteer to host and sponsor; and presentations can be made by not only professors but also practitioners, aspiring professors, and scholars.
We are thrilled to bring the program back to Seton Hall Law (after hosting it in 2009) and are particularly excited to host the 20th COSELL and celebrate two decades of meaningful scholarly engagement in employment and labor law!
