The Health Law Faculty selects competitions for which Seton Hall Law School will send
and support teams. Applications to participate are solicited from students through
the Health Law Forum. Students apply to compete, and faculty review their applications.
If necessary to finalize a team, students will participate in a simulation to demonstrate
their communication skills and knowledge of health law, and a final team will be selected.
All 2L, 3L, and 4L students may apply to compete; priority is given to students who
have more health-law related experience, including coursework and practical experience.
The competitions may vary each year. In recent years, students competed in the National
Health Law Transactional Competition at Loyola University Chicago and the Health Law
Regulatory and Compliance Competition at Maryland Carey Law School. For more information
on these opportunities, please contact Professor Tara Ragone.
