Major League Baseball Names Michele Meyer-Shipp '95, Chief People & Culture Officer

Major League Baseball (MLB) Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. announced the appointment of Michele Meyer-Shipp ’95 to serve as its Chief People & Culture Officer. Meyer-Shipp will manage all league office “human resources activities, including talent processes and programs, workplace culture, and diversity and inclusion,” according to MLB. Meyer-Shipp also will oversee all off-field office operations.

“Michele has dedicated her career to establishing diverse, inclusive, and engaging workplaces. She brings an unparalleled ability to create meaningful cultures and relationships among employees by implementing policies that help people connect with one another and embrace the power of diversity to improve business operations,” says Dean Kathleen M.
