Seton Hall University School of Law announces a new format for its Data Privacy and Security Compliance Certificate Program with flexible Virtual Bootcamp Modules:
"Module 1 | November 10-11, 2022:: Intro to Privacy Principles and US Privacy and Data Security Law:: CIPP/ US Bootcamp Module 2 | February 23-24, 2023:: Global Privacy and Data Security:: CIPP/ E Bootcamp Module 3 | April 20-21, 2023:: Privacy Compliance and Management Principles and Practices:: CIPM Bootcamp"
Learners will have the ability to bundle all bootcamp modules at a discounted rate or customize and choose one or more modules to level-up privacy and security knowledge and skills. Seton Hall Law faculty-led sessions will be taught by David Opderbeck, Professor of Law, Co-Director, Gibbons Institute of Law, Science & Technology, and the Institute for Privacy Protection and feature Adjunct Professor, Adam Gonnelli for a session on Emerging Issues in Privacy (AI, Crypto, Blockchain). The program also boasts of having privacy and data security compliance officers from Horizon Blue Cross, Deloitte, Prudential, Verizon, and other companies and law firms. Carrie Parikh, Chief Privacy Officer, Assistant General Counsel, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey will begin the first session on November 10th with a primer on privacy and the landscape of the law in the U.S.
Learners who enroll in all three bootcamp modules will earn a Seton Hall Law certificate in Data Privacy and Security Compliance will be prepared for the CIPP / US, CIPP / E, and CIPM exams. Professor Opderbeck says, "Our new, flexible format enables anyone to earn their Data Privacy and Security Compliance Certificate and prepare for the Certified Information Privacy Professional Exams in several intensive but convenient sessions. Participants can also take individual parts of the program that fit their interests and schedules without taking the full Certificate program."

The Data Privacy and Security Compliance Certificate Program offers a deep dive into global privacy laws, compliance strategies & case studies to produce robust leadership and know how in the ever-changing, complex field of data privacy and data regulation.
