Seton Hall Law at 35 in Above the Law Top 50

Long a Top 50 law school, Seton Hall Law rose 9 places since 2015

Legal profession blog Above the Law issued its annual Top 50 Law Schools ranking, placing Seton Hall Law at #35. Seton Hall Law has always been among the Top 50 since the ranking’s inception four years ago. In 2015, Seton Hall Law was ranked #44.

The Above the Law ranking is especially valued because of its emphasis on career success: “Our methodology is based purely on outcomes, especially on the schools’ success in placing their graduates into quality jobs as lawyers,” the site explained.

“Seton Hall Law works hard to ensure that our graduates have fulfilling careers,” wrote Dean Boozang in a celebratory message to students. “Our Introduction to Lawyering Program, emphasis on externships, and Center for Social Justice clinical opportunities are designed to enable you to determine your aspirations.  Our hands-on approach in the Office of Career Services seeks to launch you on a path that will achieve these aspirations.
 
“It is, of course, the right thing to do,” she continued. “But it is gratifying when our approach is validated by national rankings that boost our reputation and smooth our alums’ career path.”
