Courses are designed and taught by law school professors. Requirements for acceptance include on online application - entrance exams not needed. The MSJ program is structured for students to complete eight week courses 100% online or hybrid. Ten courses (31 credits) enables students to finish in two years on a part time schedule.
The 2018 MSJ Incoming Class includes students from 34 U.S. states, 3 countries with an average age of 44. 33% of students in the MSJ program entered with another graduate degree.

Seton Hall Law's Master of Science in Jurisprudence (MSJ or MS) program is designed for non-lawyers eager to advance their careers and enhance their marketability in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technology, biotechnology, and financial services fields. As an MS student, you can concentrate in Health and Hospital Law, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law & Compliance, Intellectual Property Law, Privacy Law and Cyber Security or Financial Services Compliance. Joint concentrations are also available. You will have the option of completing our 31-credit-hour Master of Jurisprudence online, or as a hybrid online/traditional (in-person) degree program.
MSJ applicants do not have to take the GRE or LSAT. Students enrolled in the MSJ online degree program do not have a residency requirement. The degree can be completed in just two years on a part-time schedule.
