Seton Hall Law offers a number of formal concentrations which give JD students the opportunity to specialize in a designated area of law by taking a core curriculum developed by Seton Hall faculty, in conjunction with experts working in the specific field. Concentrations appear on your transcript and will also be reflected in a certificate provided after graduation.
Health Law (Ranked 10th Best Health Law Program, 2023)
This concentration provides a strong foundation in traditional health or life sciences law. Students are taught by faculty with wide-ranging expertise who influence national and global healthcare policy. Students may also complete an optional Compliance Track, which requires additional coursework and a one-week Compliance Certificate program. Learn More

This concentration gives students the critical tools to represent business clients in the information age. In addition to the general Law & Technology concentration courses, students can further specialize in one of four tracks: Intellectual Property Law, Technology Law & Business, Privacy & Cyber Security Law, or Entertainment & New Media Law. This concentration is designed for students who plan to seek career opportunities in highly regulated industries, such as finance, banking, insurance, internet security, and health and life sciences. Gaming Law, Hospitality Law, Entertainment and Sports Law (GHamES)
The GHamES concentration prepares students for a legal career that builds on interests in gaming, sports, the arts and media, and travel and provides students with the necessary foundation to work in these growing, dynamic, and interrelated sectors. Learn More
