Intellectual Property is vital to the technology-driven global economy...

In The News

The Gibbons Institute of Law, Science and Technology hosted the Workshop on Cybersecurity on Earth and in Space on Thursday, April 16, 2026.   Experts from around the United States came to Seton Hall Law  to share their current research focused on issues associated with the threat of cyberattacks on satellites, ground stations, and supporting networks, jurisdiction over space-based cyber incidents, data-centric approaches to space law, and the use of intellectual property regulation as a framework for the development of extraterritorial law.  The ideas, concepts, and research exchanged created an interactive and collaborative experience in which authors could receive feedback and strengthen their work.  Learn more about the program here.
