Kim’s practice focuses on advising public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, on all labor, employment and immigration issues arising out of mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and other corporate transactions. Kim counsels companies in a variety of industries on the implementation of employment policies, reductions in force and pre-litigation matters, including enforcement of restrictive covenants. Kim also advises clients with respect to the negotiation and drafting of sophisticated employment, consulting, separation and restrictive covenant agreements.

Prior, Kim was an Associate in the New York City office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in the Labor and Employment Law group.  Her practice included advising clients on labor, employment and immigration matters arising out of complex U.S. and cross-border corporate transactions, drafting and negotiating employment, separation and restrictive covenant agreements, representing clients in various employment related litigation and pre-litigation matters and counseling clients on implementation of employment policies and compliance with federal, state and local laws.

Kim served as a Judicial Clerk for two years for the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, U.S.D.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. 

During law school, Kim served the Seton Hall Law community as Chair of the Honor Council.  As a student, Kim interned for the Office of the Council President for the City of Newark, the Honorable Garrett E. Brown, Jr., U.S.D.J., the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, and the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel in New York.  Kim also participated in the Center for Social Justice Impact Litigation Clinic.  In 2009, Kim received her B.A., manga cum laude, from Seton Hall University and is an avid fan of Seton Hall Pirates Basketball.
