Professor Borthwick is an Assistant Professor and Technology Innovation Librarian. He currently develops and implements technology solutions to support law school students, staff, and faculty, while also keeping the law school on the forefront of legal technology trends.

Prior to his current role, Professor Borthwick managed the law school's network infrastructure, server maintenance, and user support within the Department of Legal Computing. He earned a B.A. in Journalism (2013) and J.D. with an Intellectual Property concentration (2016) from Seton Hall University. While in law school, he was awarded the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property Law.
