Students Bar Passage - Ranked #16 by National Law Journal

Ranked 16th Nationally for Employment

Strong employment rates, bar pass rates exceeding state averages for the Class of 2015

The National Law Journal (NLJ) ranks Seton Hall Law #16 among 200 law schools in the nation for the Class of 2015’s stellar after-graduation employment outcomes.

“The National Law Journal ranking  measures  the legal profession’s 'gold standard': the percentage of our latest class of graduates in full-time, long-term positions for which bar passage is required,” explained Kathleen M. Boozang, Dean and Professor of Law.

“Our mission at Seton Hall Law is to provide our students with the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to pass the bar and succeed in the legal profession from the day they graduate, and our alums’ career success reflects that approach,” Dean Boozang continued. “The National Law Journal ranking follows on the heels of the July 2015 bar passage results of this graduating class, which far exceeded state averages in both New York and New Jersey.

"Most important, and not evidenced by any rating,” she concluded, “is that Seton Hall Law launches its graduates into careers that fulfill their aspirations – that’s our measure of success.”
