The 3rd Annual Gaming Law, Compliance & Integrity Bootcamp Hosted Industry Experts to Discuss Challenges and Adopt Best Practices

Seton Hall Law School’s Third Annual Gaming Law, Compliance & Integrity Bootcamp successfully brought together regulators, operators, vendors, academics, law enforcement personnel, and attorneys to discuss challenges facing the gaming industry and how to identify and adopt best practices to promote compliant, ethical, responsible, and sustainable gaming. Keynote speakers included: David Rebuck, Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement; Harry S. Jackson, Partner and Co-Chair of the American Indian Law Practice Group at Fox Rothschild; and Philip R, Sellinger, the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. Panels broadly addressed issues including: interjurisdictional compliance, AML prevention, the importance of responsible gaming, sports integrity, emerging technological innovations, intellectual property, privacy and cybersecurity, and anti-corruption laws and enforcement. Attendees praised the certificate program for providing “[t]hree days of valuable information and great networking opportunities” and being “a tremendous catalyst for creating positive change.” Others described the Bootcamp as a “program of mandatory attendance” for both new and more senior professionals “who need to keep abreast of what is continually changing in the gaming legal, regulatory, and compliance landscape.”
