The Caitlin P. ’12 and Jordan Cascino Annual Scholarship

Former Scholarship Recipient Gives Back

A scholarship recipient herself, Seton Hall Law alumna, Caitlin Petry Cascino ’12, well understood the profound impact of scholarships on students’ lives.  She and her husband, Jordan, a 2011 M.A. alumnus of Seton Hall, are proud to be able to fund The Caitlin P. ’12 and Jordan Cascino Annual Scholarship to enable deserving students to obtain a legal education.

“I received a full ride to law school,” explains Cascino. “I believe I had to give back, I couldn’t just take.” She went on, “My scholarship allowed me to do what I wanted to do: I wasn’t stuck going into work I didn’t enjoy,” she says. “It’s important for me to give someone that same opportunity, someone who needs it.”

Cascino had a strong connection to Seton Hall because of family ties, her mother and grandfather having received undergrad degrees.

While she earned a Business Management degree at Villanova, Seton Hall was Cascino’s law school of choice. She was interested in employment law, and has found the combination of a business degree and law degree immensely helpful. Cascino credits Deans Sullivan and Glynn for “laying the foundation for the real world practicing I do now.”

Cascino is currently an associate at Walsh Pizzi O’Reilly Falanga LLP, where she practices as a litigator defending employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.
