Meet Seton Hall Law School’s incoming class.

Seton Hall Law is home to a close-knit community of professionals that represent global perspectives across the legal sector. We offer interested applicants broadened admissions criteria with additional paths to a law degree through merit-based scholarships, full-time weekday programs and part-time weekend programs.

A total of 2224 applications were received with 250 J.D. student matriculants, for a total J.D. enrollment of 529 students.

Age, Ethnicity, and Gender: Matriculant ages were between 20-24 (60%), 25-29 (26%), 30-39 (10%), and 40 and up (4%). Matriculant ethnicity includes white (69%), two or more ethnic groups (10%), asian (7%), hispanic or latino (4%), black (5%), and other (5%). Gender among matriculants was 48% women and 52% men.

Seton Hall Law class of 2017's overall bar passage rate for first-time applicants in July 2017 was 87.4%.  The graduates again exceeded state averages in NY and NJ. In NJ, 85.6% (state average is 73.71%) and NY 95.8% (state average is 86%.
